Players having no concept of No-Limit poker, some times find them in deep trouble playing Limit Hold'em. Playing in a game of No-Limit Holde'em playing 250+ big blinds deep, in a single bit brings all your chips in risk of win or loss and adversely effects your long term results.
Here is a chart of total bets by rising your opponent
Total Bets: 6
In the similar scenario, They call, and check-call the river:when you call your opponent's flip bet, and raise them on the turn.
Total Bets: 7
By waiting until the turn to make your single raise, As you can see in the following chart, you've gained yourself one full big bet. waiting to raise until the river yields the same result as the turn
Total Bets: 7
You now have a much more aggressive player sitting across from you, but you're not making any more money Since it's rare to have a hand on the flop or turn that's impossible to beat, letting your opponent see a free or cheap river is not always in your best interest.
